Ian Thornton designed the Gambit Floor Lamp to free up valuable space on the tops of nightstands and accent tables, as the flat metal base will slide easily under and the boxy shade will illuminate the entire piece of furniture. The gold floor lamp is made of metal in a contemporary gold leaf finish. A design detail of note is how the metal stem continues up and over the outside edge of the off-white shantung shade.
