The Tendai Table Lamp was created with the great Japanese burning technique called shou sugi ban that was perfected in that aesthetically refined country. The columnar body of the wood lamp, which has a subtle gear shape to its profile, was charred on top and then wire-brushed to heighten the texture. This brings the brown lamp a subtle ombré effect.
