With all the spectacular beauty of natural burnished horn but none of the cruelty, the bases of these lamps dazzle. The horn inspired patterns are expertly artisan created from layers of soft gray lacquer and then accented with rings of genuine gold leaf. A tapered shade in creamy white linen and a cubed cylinder finial in more rich gold leaf are included.

In May of 1997 Jamie Young Jeter and David Jeter, both artists with a passion for travel, took a day trip to Mexico, where they filled their car with interesting gardening pots they discovered in a roadside shop. They returned to Los Angeles and promptly sold the entire haul to a local florist.
